Aubrey Stark-Miller

Aubrey Stark-Miller is a recent graduate from the University of California’s Master of Urban Planning program. She came to Los Angeles by way of Austin, Texas where she lived for nine years, and is originally from Vermont. Aubrey has experience as an intern doing community outreach and other work with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health addressing pedestrian safety in unincorporated communities. As a graduate student, she was a fellow with the Randall Lewis Health Policy Fellowship. She has volunteered with Los Angeles organizations such as TreePeople, Public Matters, American Planner Association’s group Young Emerging Planners and USC’s Volunteer Center. Aubrey worked as the Social Chair for USC ASPD, Associated Students of Planning & Development, organizing events for her Urban Planning graduate peers. Prior to grad school she worked for The University of Texas at Austin as a library specialist, hosted a podcast, created and facilitated a women’s sobriety group and hosted educational workshops and presentations on the relationship between health and our environments. She enjoys hiking, reading fiction and non-fiction, neighborhood walks, and weightlifting.
