This year’s Power of the Arts Festival was a vibrant two-day celebration where creativity and science came together to inspire over a thousand youth, families, and community members. Hosted at Discovery Cube Los Angeles in partnership with Create Now, the festival offered hands-on experiences designed to empower imagination and showcase the transformative power of the arts.
From interactive exhibits to live performances, every corner of the Cube buzzed with energy and innovation. DJ Lance Rock kept the vibe going all weekend, while DJ Krazy and GRAMMY-nominated artist Kymberly Stewart brought sound, rhythm, and joy to the stage.

Featured Artists & Experiences:
- Sarah Lew inspired young creators with her puppetry and voice work
- Ajia Munns offered insight into storytelling and mindfulness
- Carlo A. Flores brought colorful comic worlds to life
- Kierran Taylor led textile-based art workshops
- Adeola Ayedun showcased global perspectives in character design
- Micah Cover amazed families with his jaw-dropping magic
- Mandel Canter the Co-Creator of the card game Hoodlin Rumble.

Creative Zones Included:
Creative Core – Painting, scratch art, foam sculpting, and doodling
Fusion Lab – Origami, spin art, LEGO builds, and chemistry-based experiments
Maker Magic – Puppet-making, hand sewing plushies, bead crafts, and nature-based art
Each space encouraged kids to explore STEAM concepts in fun, accessible ways. Whether they were mixing ingredients in the Bounce Factory, designing characters, or painting their emotions, the festival created a space where every child could create, express, and grow.

This collaboration reflects the shared mission of Create Now and Discovery Cube: to uplift underserved youth and families through educational, creative programming. By blending the power of science and art, we opened doors to new opportunities, skills, and confidence-building moments for every child who joined us.
