We are so excited to have partnered with St. Francis Center in DTLA where we provided some wonderful summer camp activities for their youth. Over 15 youth from ages 8-13 were able to participate in dancing and a full range of different Arts and craft activities for 3 straight days.
These activities allowed youth to engage in a variety of activities that will open their eyes to new opportunities. These enriching experiences also create lasting memories and help teach them new skills!
Why are the arts so important? Involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skill. Art learning can also improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.
