Create Now is excited to present the Creative Career Fair 2026, a free two-day event designed to introduce youth and young adults to real career pathways in the creative industries. Taking place May 15–16 at El Sereno Middle School in Los Angeles, the event will bring together artists, designers, animators, filmmakers, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs who are actively working in their fields. The goal of the fair is simple: to show young people that creativity can lead to meaningful careers and to give them direct access to the people and resources that can help them get there.

The Creative Career Fair will feature interactive booths, live demonstrations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities where students can learn about different creative professions. Participants will hear firsthand stories from industry professionals about how they started their careers, the skills they developed, and the opportunities available in fields such as animation, design, music production, game development, filmmaking, and more. The event is designed to be hands-on and engaging, allowing youth to explore different creative disciplines and ask questions directly to professionals who are doing the work today.
A major focus of the Creative Career Fair is workforce development. Create Now believes that the arts are not only powerful tools for self-expression and healing, but also a gateway to real employment opportunities. By bringing together creative professionals, companies, and community organizations, the event helps bridge the gap between artistic passion and career development. Students will learn about internships, training opportunities, educational pathways, and entry points into the creative economy.

The fair also highlights the importance of mentorship and community connection. Many of the professionals participating in the event come from similar backgrounds as the youth attending and are excited to share their journeys and guidance. These conversations can spark inspiration, build confidence, and help young people see themselves in industries they may have never considered before.
Create Now has spent nearly three decades empowering young people through the arts, and the Creative Career Fair is an extension of that mission. By bringing together education, creativity, and career exploration in one space, the event provides young people with the tools, connections, and inspiration needed to pursue their creative futures.
Organizations, artists, and companies interested in participating as tablers, speakers, mentors, or sponsors are encouraged to connect with Create Now (Click here) to help expand opportunities for the next generation of creators. Together, we can continue building pathways that allow young people to turn their creative passions into real-world possibilities.
