Let’s Go on a Cultural Journey!

Each year, Create Now’s Cultural Journeys program provides thousands of the most marginalized kids in Southern California with the opportunity to experience live stage performances, concerts at iconic venues, museum tours, plus fun times at the circus and unique events.

Many of these youth are afraid to venture out because of the abuse and trauma they’ve endured. They often feel self-conscious and fearful that they won’t fit in with everyone else. However, the staff at the partner agencies in our network tell us their youth are more focused and able to concentrate longer after attending our Cultural Journeys. They want to explore more of the world they live in. Their confidence, motivation and goals are enhanced.

We ask the kids to create thank you cards and letters, which teaches them to express their appreciation and to develop their creativity. At the same time, our ticket donors are able to see the impact of their contributions first-hand.
