In the wake of the devastating Altadena and Eaton fires, Create Now has partnered with Hope Now Community Resource Center in Pasadena to bring healing and hope to affected families and youth. These fires have not only consumed homes but have also left many in our community struggling to cope with the emotional aftermath.
Recognizing the power of creative expression in healing, we launched a series of art workshops designed specifically for the young people impacted by these tragedies. Art has a unique capacity to soothe and express feelings that words sometimes cannot capture. Through these workshops, participants have found a safe space to process their emotions and begin the journey toward healing.
However, the impact of these fires extends beyond the immediate damage. The aftermath has strained our resources, leading to budget cuts and the shutdown of several of our programs. This has made our New Era of Change campaign more crucial than ever. We are committed to not only continuing our support for these communities but also ensuring that our arts programs remain accessible to those who need them most.We invite you to watch a detailed account of our efforts and hear directly from those affected in our video here.

As we move forward, your support is vital. You can help us rebuild and expand our reach by donating to our campaign or volunteering your time. Together, we can ensure that art remains a pillar of recovery and resilience for those affected by such crises.
